Trace Creek Construction, Inc. considers it a privilege to have worked with you for the past eight years. As you will remember our firm was invited to submit a proposal on the Ashland Community and Technology College Phase II on a Construction Management at Risk basis. This project was a 35 million dollar expansion to the Phase One project, Trace Creek built seven years earlier. As a Construction Management at Risk project it required a payment and performance bond for the full construction value of the project. This project was nearly four times larger than any project Trace Creek had previously bonded.

Trace Creek felt we were qualified and in a unique position to win this project based on our past experience with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the end user, The Ashland Community and Technical College. I have made the statement, “When other surety agents said it could not be done, Todd made it happen, many times. Through and because of your advocacy with Travelers Surety, on behalf of Trace Creek, we were able to submit for the project and ultimately be successful in landing the project. We have enjoyed an excellent relationship for many years and look forward to many more successful years in the future.

As President and CEO of Custom Quality Services, Inc., I am pleased to recognize the outstanding contributions and efforts made to our organization by an outstanding individual. For the past twelve years I have known Todd Loehnert through his involvement and service on our Board of Directors.

Todd’s contributions have been invaluable and without question have made a significant difference to our company. His “passion” for what we do is contagious. I have heard him address many groups where his love for our people shins through. Every time, he encourages people to come to our facility, to experience what is special about CQS. We employ individuals
with disabilities and others who experience barriers to employment. These employees have captured his heart and it shows!

Not only does he spread the news about us, but he works hard for us, as well. As Chairman of our Annual Golf Outing, he has been instrumental in raising over $300,000 the past ten years. We recognized Todd a few years ago as the Outstanding Board Member of the Year. This was only a small token of our appreciation, as Todd Loehnert will always be in our “Hall of fame” of Board Members.

I endorse his efforts. He is a smart business leader, a wonderful family man, and someone who volunteers his time with a passion that is seldom matched.
